Only mentioned during the 7th ordinary Synod, 27.09.-01.10.1976, during which it was announced that he is transferred [from where is not recorded] to Arandis/Swakopmund.1

Mentioned in the bishops report to the 9th Ordinary Synod from 27.09.-02.10.1981 in Otjimbingwe, the bishop wrote: "[...] Johannes Nanapo moes ook [1980] in [sic] diens as Evangelist binne die Kerk laat vaar, nadat sy huwelik op rotse beland het. Alhoewel hy nog baie ywerig is vir die werk, moes die Kerkbestuur hom ongelukkig vra om liewer privaatwerk te soek. Vir hom is die kerk ook dank verskuldig en dra ons hom op aan die genade van God, netso ook sy eegenote." (Bishops Reprot p. 9).2
