"Nama", son of a Nama chief, born 1897, married to Hulda who was also an offspring of a Nama chief. Goliath attended the mission school in Berseba, worked five years for the "Landespolizei", a few years as farm labourer and worked as an assistant painter before joining the Augustineum. After completing the 3-year teachers course at the Augustineum in December 1925 he was send to Keetmasnhoop as a teacher.1
