Muringirange came to Keetmanshoop from Ovamboland in 1910. He was baptized in Keetmanshoop and married a Herero woman. Since 1918 he helped Kühhirt with the baptism classes and the devotions (on Wednesday-Evenings). In 1919 Kühhirt appointed him as elder (and Evangelist) of the small Ovambo congregation in Keetmanshoop. This was the year of the big revival in Ovamboland and Kühhirt writes: "Die Ovambo erfreuen durch ihre munteren Gesänge, die sie mit leuchtenden Augen, vier bis fünf Verse auswendig, singen." Muringirange worked as a street sweeper for the Municipality and after 5:00 pm and on weekends he spent all his time with the Ovambos.1
Hendrik Muringirange wird Pfingsten 1919 Gehilfe in der Ovambogemeinde. Er war 1910 nach Khoop gekommen und hatte eine Hererofrau geheiratet. Keine Kinder. Nun unterrichtet er die Ovambo.2 P. 097 Kurzer Jahresbericht von Kühhirt.
