Simson Davids left Outjo and started to work in Okombahe in October 1912. Here he replaced Friedrich !Nanub, who was transferred to Kawab.1

In a letter by W. Diehl to Eich, dated 12.07.1922, he was speculating to have Friedrich !Nanub as Evangelist, when Petrus Hekenur would leave for training in Okahandja. Friedrich !Nanub had worked as "Gehülfe" of Baumann and Brockmann [in Okombahe]. According to W. Diehl, Friedrich !Nanub could speak a some Herero and was already suggested by moderator Olpp to be re-employed.3
Auf der Konferenz 21.-30.03.1922 in Swakopmund wird bemerkt, dass der Gehülfe [ohne Namensnennung] und die Ältesten in Okombahe nicht genügend Autorität hätten und deswegen eine Besetzung von Okombahe mit einem Missionar dringend geboten sei.4
