Joined Vitat Tom in Southwestern Angola after the Herero-war and came with him to Otjiyanyasemo (Kaokoland) in 1917. Was married to Maria, a daughter of Vita Tom and his 6th wife Matau and lived in the same homestead at Otjiyanyasemo, Kaoko (from 1917-37??). He had former connections with the RMS and celebrated church services under a mopane tree near the meeting place under the omuve tree of Vita Tom.1
