Worked as a herder in the Tses reserve before joining the Church. Completed Sub B. Evangelist course: 1947 and 1952. "Sakramentebediening toegelaat." Retired on the 01.07.1972.1 He completed the second evangelist course at Paulinum in Karibib after the examination in December 1947. The course was for one year; he came from Keetmanshoop to the Paulinum, was classified as Herero and was 32 years old when he finished. He passed the examination with "satisfactory", and was send to Keetmanshoop. He was not married when attending the evangelist course. RMG 2.561a p. 195. Gottlob Tjiriange was requested by the congregation from Komnarib (Keetmanshoop) after the course. RMG 2.651a p. 193. Completed the course with an examination end of October 1952. Because he was amongst the group of 7 in the course who had a "satisfying" to "good" examination result, he qualified for a promotion to become a chief evangelist, but "because of certain conditions", he was forced to do an additional probation time as an evangelist before a promotion was considered.
