Mentioned as evangelist who was present at the conference of evangelists in October 1971 in Okahandja,2 from Otjiwarongo.

During the conference of Evangelists - on the 22.03.1973 - he reports to the dagbestuur, that his planned transfer to Sesfontein is doubtful, as there is no accommodation for Evangelists available in Sesfontein. The house of the pastor in Sesfontein is used by the teacher Mr. Bachmann. Dagbestuur decides, that Petrus Snyders will have to go to Sesfontein withour his family, and that his family will only join him in three months. A vehicle for his visits in the outside area will have to be arranged in Sesfontein.3

Auf der Konferenz (conference of Evangelists - on the 22.03.1973) wird die Frage von Petrus Snyders gestellt, was in einer Gemeinde unternommen werden soll, wenn in einer Kirche kein Pult vorhanden ist und ein Evangelist die Predigt halten soll. Maasdorp betont, dass es nicht so schwer sein kann, ein Pult zu bauen. Er denkt aber auch, dass die Zeit gekommen sei, dass die "Kerkorde-komissie" abwägen muss, ob es noch theologische Gründe gibt, dass Evanglisten nicht die Kanzel benutzen dürfen. The ELK Church Board re-located Snyders to the congregation Windhoek and the Board learns on its meeting on 15.01.1975, that the Evangelist had already moved, in spite of original problem of finding accommodation for him in Windhoek.4

Petrus Snyders applied to be readmitted as an Evangelist. Church Board rejects his application during a meeting in September 1977, because "[,,,] Mr, Snyders has not contacted his previous wife for reconciliation."5
