A note in the Church Board meeting of 28./29.04.1976 indicates that several letters were written to the Board about the conflict in the marriage of Kaulinge and his wife and the uproar it led to in the congregation (in the circuit Usakos). The preses as well as pastor Frederik had already hold talks with Kaulinge and his wife separately. The Board decides, that the chairperson of the "Kring Usakos" is requested to have talks with Kaulinge and his wife with the aim to save the marriage from separating. At the same time the Board considers a re-location of Kaulinge to Otjiwarongo, where a position for his wife in the school would be arranged by pastor E. Eiseb.6
