Traugott [no surname could be traced] is mentioned as an example of an Evangelist in 1889 "[...] who is a special support for missionary Diehl's work amongst the poor Bergdamara"1 Schaar mentions a Traugott Kainovatua, from Okombahe, who moved into the vicinity of Okombahe when the Rinderpest effected the village. He died around 1894.
