The course was for one year; he came from Karibib to the Paulinum, was classified as Bergdama and was 38 years old when he finished. He passed the examination with "satisfactory", and was send to Gobabis. He was married when attending the evangelist course. RMG 2.651a p. 195.

Simson !Ouxab, Gobabis, "Bergdama", attended the course for chief evangelists (so called "Förderungskurs") at Paulinum which started in August 1951. Completed the course with an examination end of October 1952. Because of the average result it was advised to further employ him as an assistant evangelist, unless he had been a chief evangelist before coming to the Paulinum. Was send to Grootfontein. RMG 2.651a p. 80.
Was discharged from his service in 1953 because of "drunkenness". RMG 2.651a p. 53r.

"Das scheint nun seine innere Situation zu sein: Er hat - ich will es milde ausdrücken - keine Freudigkeit zu seinem Evangelistenberuf und benutzt den Vorfall als willkommenen Anlass - - oder hat er ihn sogar inszeniert? (ich wage letzteres nicht zu behaupten) --, um seinem Evangelistenberuf den Abschied geben zu können.
