Was born and baptized in Windhoek. Went to School in Windhoek from Sub A to Standard I. When his father died, his mother went back to her parents in Swakopmund. Here the father of his mother, Jeftha Seibeb, was an elder in the RMS congregation. His mother returned to Windhoek were he continued with his schooling up to Standard VI. 
"[...] My grandfather always told me: Look my son, you know what I want to tell you? I have two sons, but both of them drink, they do not listen to my advice. Now I am old, but I tell you, if the Lord keeps you, I want you to serve the Lord. I will send you to the Paulinum to be trained as servant of God. When I answered him, Grandfather, I want to become a police man. Then my grandfather would answer: 'Before I die, you will never start with that work! Because I want you to be educated as an evangelist or as a pastor.' After that my grandfather died on the 24.3.1945 in Swakopmund, where he is also burried."
After Seibeb completed his Std. 6 he worked in the Post Office for 6 years. After that he worked as driver of trucks for a Mr. "simma" (Zimmer?).
