During the Evangelist Conference of 1972 he reports that "[...] sien geen moontlikheid om Pastore E. Hoëbeb saam te werk." Churchboard promises to issue a "diensaanwysing" that can prevent any problems between the two. He agrees to be transferred to Uis and requests a motorcar.6
During the conference of Evangelists - on the 22.03.1973 - the following suggestion was made by Simon Afrikaner: employ two local Pastors or Evangelists to do the evangelisation work in the congregation of the whole land. The suggestion was welcomed with big support during the Conference.7
