The mother of Petrus Lambert was Johanna Lambert. She was the sister of Petrus Dreyer. Petrus Lambert joined the family of missionary Fritz Schneider, who taught him the playing of a trumpet. He went with Schneider on a tour with the trumpet choir to Germany. Petrus Lambert later married Maria Pienaar (the daughter of evangelist Jakob Pienaar). Worked as an evangelist for the RMS from 1950 to 1960. In December 1961 he worked as a clerk of the Tsumeb Corperation. During that year he was the owner of a taxi for blacks as additional source of income. He continued to be in possession of an exemption for a pass. Worked in Windhoek in December 1964 for the ELK as a evangelist and Diehl testified that he worked in Keetmanshoop, Tsumeb, Okahandja and Windhoek.5 Was issued with a certification of exemption from pass law in the rank as an Evangelist of the Rhenish Mission from the headquarter Windhoek in March 1965.6 After one year missionary vacancy at Tsumeb, Reeh was delegated and Dreyer became evangelist, Co-workers conference 1955 RMG 2.642 p. 027, Mentioned in list of evangelists that were present at conference of evangelists in Okahandja August 1968,7 Came to Leonardville as "an old man". In its meeting of 28./29.04.1976, the Church Board discusses the personal situation of Dreyer. Church Board is informed that Dreyer has been in and out of the hospital during the last year. He is ailing all the time. The vice-preses informs the Board that he was told by Dreyer by phone, that he would probably be admitted to the TB-hospital in Windhoek shortly, as it turned out, it was in April 1976.
